Our emotions wheel are particularly valuable as children are learning to recognize and regulate their own feelings and emotions, as well as learning to recognize and empathize with the emotions of others.
Show kids how to use feeling words in their daily vocabulary. Model how to express feelings by taking opportunities to share your feelings.
Each day, ask your child, “How are you feeling today?” With young children by using our emotion wheel and then discuss that feeling together. We can also discuss about how to manage (or cope) with them.
